Liophis poecilogyrus
Gold bellied snakes, magrove snakes, yellow bellied magrove snake. You name it...A small semi aquatic species, rear fanged and fish eaters. These guys suit our collection very well. They love to hide, they love to eat! This species is rarely kept in Europe, but seem to be gaining in popularity. We are working with 1.2 of these guys and may have witnessed mating recently (Sept. 2011). Who knows.....
